Key staff benefits
We are committed to supporting our staff and offer a range of benefits to all employees including:
10% pension contribution
Our Group Personal Pension Plan is designed to be simple, flexible and competitive. It is a great way to save for the long term and is open to all our staff. AiE contributes 10% of your monthly net qualifying earnings into an auto enrolment scheme on behalf of staff. This means our contributions are 7% higher than required under employers auto enrolment legislation. You can make additional contributions if you wish to do so.
Annual leave
We understand the importance of work-life balance so offer 26 days’ holiday each year. To celebrate long service we increase this by one day a year to a maximum of 31 days (after 6 years’ service). On top of this, staff are given additional time off, should the organisation shut down at the end of the year between 24th December to 1st January.
Commuter travel loan
To help you pay for the most effective means of travel to our London office, staff can apply for an annual, interest-free commuter loan. This is available up-to a maximum of £10,000 and should be used to support with the cost of travelling on public transport.
Enhanced sick pay scheme
So you can focus on your wellbeing if you are absent from work due to ill-health, we offer a generous sick pay scheme. This is managed on a sliding scale based on length of service.
Enhanced family pay scheme
We are committed to supporting our working parents achieve a work life balance, and encourage all staff to take leave during the early weeks following birth or adoption. As a result we offer enhanced pay during maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
Health cash plan and employee assistance programme
We provide all staff with a health cash plan and employee assistance programme provided by HSF.
Through the HSF health plan staff are able to take care of everyday health expenses. Cover is available for the following; acupuncture, chiropody, chiropractic, homeopathy, osteopathy and physiotherapy. Specialist & Investigations include allergy testing and health screening, hospital overnight and day case payments. We also recognise that at times our staff may need additional support or advice with their personal or financial wellbeing. As such we provide an employee assistance programme via HSF Assist which offers 24 hour access to a doctor; a counselling service and legal advice.
Sabbatical leave
We offer individuals the opportunity to have a break from their employment to develop their career, pursue a topic of special personal interest or undertake a period of extended travel. Our belief is that sabbatical leave supports personal development outside the usual confines of the job, allowing staff to return to work with new ideas and enhanced skills. After five years’ service, staff can request up to three weeks of sabbatical leave.
