Disabled voices influence our work.

Attitude is Everything design our work based on the voices of disabled audiences, artists, professionals and volunteers.

Feedback is a vital part of our work and helps to influence the wider industry.

Your feedback and suggestions will influence:

  • The resources we create for disabled people
  • The resources we create for the industry
  • Our training and consultancy
  • Our campaigns and initiatives

Our approach is to campaign for change, educate and resolve barriers across the industry.

If you would like to influence our work, share your experiences using the link below.

Please note: Attitude is Everything are not an advocacy or dispute resolution service. This feedback form is intended to be used to influence our work, and to enable us to campaign for change, educate, and resolve barriers across the industry.

Sharing your experience of Charter Member’s events

We work with our Charter Members to improve their accessibility. We welcome all forms of feedback. This helps us identify issues, share best practice, and support with sector-wide improvements.

If you wish to raise feedback about a Charter Member’s event, we ask you to first contact the Charter member.

If you feel that your concerns have not been addressed by the Charter member’s own internal complaints procedure (and received their final decision on the complaint) you can contact us:

We aim to respond to all enquiries within 8 weeks. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Advocating for positive change

We keep feedback about specific venues, festivals and events confidential. Instead, our approach is to highlight trends and advocate for change. Here are some reasons why we take that approach:

  • Trust matters

We make the most impact when venues and festivals can speak honestly with us. If they trust us to keep conversations private, they will share the information we need to improve access.

  • Encourage participation

We want disabled people to feel safe and welcome at events. This lets us focus on solutions and celebrate progress, which helps show disabled people that events are genuinely becoming more inclusive.

  • Protecting wellbeing

Access staff and event managers are people too, often with lived experience of disability. Social media criticism can affect their wellbeing, so we prefer to work with venues in a supportive, constructive way.

Mystery Shopping Update

Mystery shopping the accessibility of venues and festivals has been an essential part of Attitude is Everything’s work for several years. Individually and collectively, mystery shop reports by our volunteers have helped to amplify the lived experiences of Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent music fans, advocating for inclusive change in the Live Events industry.

Since 2017:

  • 361 volunteers have completed over 1,775 mystery shops
  • Across 606 venues nationwide

This work has provided invaluable insight into access across the sector and helped shape improvements.

From 2016 until 2025, our Mystery Shopping programme was funded as part of projects supported by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and the John Ellerman Foundation. We are very grateful to both funders for their support.

Currently we do not receive funding to continue the Mystery Shopping or volunteering programmes in their current format. We are, however, committed to seeking feedback from people with lived experience. We are currently designing new feedback processes, and we’re planning to update our audiences and community by the end of the year.
