Events Industry Forum funded training places

Supporting smaller and independent events to improve accessibility.

Attitude is Everything has been awarded a grant by the Events Industry Forum to provide funded training places and other sessions to help smaller events across the UK make what they offer more accessible to disabled audiences, artists, employees and volunteers.

At the heart of this work will be 3-hour Disability Equality and Customer Service sessions tailored for event organisers covering:

  • Disability and the UK today
  • The Equality Act
  • The Social model of disability
  • Practical case studies
  • Language and terminology

Learn more about our approach to training here.

17 open sessions will be scheduled from March 2023 to Spring 2024.

Two places per company/organisation can be booked by members of:

AIF – Association of Independent Festivals

BAFA – British Arts Festivals Association

AFO – The Association of Festival Organisers

LAEOG – Local Authority Events Organisers Group

And organisers of community events supported by Local Authorities
