Role details
Salary: £41,475 per annum
Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week. This role will include occasional work outside these hours for evenings and weekends. Time off in Lieu is offered for additional hours worked.
Duration: Fixed Term- Maternity Cover for up to 13 months
Based: Our office is based in London, E2. Most of our staff combine some home working with some days in the office. This role will involve some UK travel.
Reports to: Deputy CEO
Pension: 10% employer contribution
Holiday: 26 days plus bank holidays per annum
About the role
The successful candidate will be a key part of our Senior Management Team and providing maternity cover for our work driving improvements to accessibility and inclusion across the music and live events industry.
This will include:
- Overseeing our Live Events Access Charter and Grassroots Community Accessibility Framework.
- Delivering work improving how we collect and address feedback from our network of disabled artists, audiences, professionals and volunteers.
- Drive our paid Charter membership scheme.
- Delivering some of our earned income work (e.g. training, accessibility workshops and access consultancy).
- Providing input into our artist, audience and skills development work and internal culture.
Additionally, the post-holder will carry out Senior Management functions around line management, budget management and strategy development.
Please note: We commit to making reasonable adjustments to enable the successful candidate to succeed in the role. However, on-site delivery of training and consultancy is essential to this role, were an adjustment required around this, it would need to be delivered in a way where the postholder was still delivering on-site.

Our model is simple. Disabled artists, audiences, professionals and volunteers identify and articulate the changes that they need to participate in the music and live events industry. Our Live Events Access Charter, training and consultancy equip the industry with the knowledge and skills to make those changes happen. We empower the industry to make equity and inclusion a reality.
Our aims are:
- To ensure the voices of disabled people are heard, create change and shape accessibility within the live music and events industry.
- To equip the music and live events industry with the tools, knowledge and resources to remove the barriers that currently exclude Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people from participation.
- To equip Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people with the tools, knowledge and advocacy skills to participate in music and live events as audiences, artists, volunteers and professionals.
- To build a community of disabled people and allies to create an industry that is not only accessible to disabled people but also values them.
