New Leadership Appointments at Attitude is Everything

Attitude is Everything is proud to announce three leadership appointments that signal an exciting new chapter for the charity.

Catherine Pymar – Chief Executive Officer

Starting Monday 10th November 2025, Catherine Pymar will take the helm as Chief Executive Officer. With over a decade of experience in the voluntary sector, Catherine’s career has been dedicated to equity, inclusion, and improving access for marginalised communities.

Her previous roles include:

  • Executive Director at Hillside Clubhouse, a co-produced mental health charity
  • Chief Executive at Home-Start Camden and Islington, supporting families across both boroughs
  • Deputy Director at Open Age in West London
  • Chair and Trustee at Westway Community Transport

Catherine began her journey at Kentish Town Community Centre and has consistently championed community-led initiatives.

Claire Cordeaux – Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees

Claire Cordeaux joins as Co-Chair of the Board of Trustees. She is currently Chief Executive of the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM), a national medical charity supporting the health of performers and arts professionals.

Claire’s background includes:

  • Work in youth and community services
  • Roles in Social Services and the NHS
  • Global Director at an independent healthcare company

She is also an active musician and has supported numerous arts initiatives, from youth music projects to coastal festivals.

Claire brings a lifetime of experience in health, social care and community work, and is passionate about improving access to music for disabled audiences, artists, and professionals.


Paul Hawkins – Deputy CEO

Paul Hawkins has been appointed Deputy CEO, supporting Catherine Pymar’s leadership and helping shape the charity’s accessible organisational culture.

Paul has been with Attitude is Everything since 2015 and part of the Senior Management Team since 2020. His contributions include:

  • Representing the charity on industry bodies such as the UK Music Diversity Taskforce and CIISA standards advisory committee
  • Leading the review of the Live Events Access Charter
  • Developing the award-winning employment programme Beyond the Music

These appointments reflect Attitude is Everything’s renewed commitment to its mission: improving access to the live music and events industry for Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people.
