What is the Live Events Access Charter?
Attitude is Everything’s Live Events Access Charter is a framework, toolkit, and assessment process designed to drive genuine accessibility across the live events and music industry.
What does ‘accreditation’ mean?
Accreditation means that a venue or festival has received an award based on their access provisions in place. There are four award tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. This award programme is designed to support venues and festivals to build on their access provisions. Beyond recognising an organisation’s commitment to accessibility, the award should signpost to audiences, artists, and professionals with access requirements the level of access provisions which are in place. What they represent is listed below:

For a venue or event to receive accreditation at any level they must meet all of the essential criteria in addition to the minimum pass rate. It is not possible for a venue or event to receive accreditation at any level without fully meeting the essential criteria.

Your experience
Central to our work is the experiences of disabled people. We have lots of resources on our website to support audiences, staff and artists and would recommend looking through these or contacting us directly.
We recognise that our community may need to report an issue and would recommend doing so using our form. While we are not able to advocate for individual cases based on our team capacity, we do keep a log of reports and use this to inform our practices and charter audits.
