Attitude is Everything is a charity that connects disabled audience members, performers, employees and volunteers with music and live event industries to improve access together.

About the role

This post is a Maternity Cover role for up to one year to manage Attitude is Everything’s Beyond the Music project. The aim of this National Lottery Community Funded project is to bring together the music industry with current and aspiring disabled music professionals and aspiring professionals to share experiences, forge links and collaborate to remove the barriers disabled people face in music and live events.

We have recently received funding for Phase Two of the project and the role will deliver on five key strands of work to transform the industry:

• Capturing the views and experiences of disabled people working or seeking to work in the music and live events industry.
• Providing new entrants to the industry with the information and resources to help them to succeed.
• Developing our network of current and aspiring music industry professionals and linking them to employment and mentoring opportunities.
• Managing our Future Leaders Programme plus helping us recruit for our forthcoming School Leavers’ project.
• Working with businesses and umbrella organisation to create a more accessible and equitable music and live events industry.

The role will last for up to one year.

Details

• Salary: £34,000
• Hours: Full time – 35 hours per week. This role will include some work outside these hours. Time off in Lieu is offered for additional hours worked. A job share will be considered.
• Contract: Maternity Cover, Up to One Year
• Based: Our office is in London, NW1. Most of our staff combine some home working with some days in the office. The training itself will combine online and face to face delivery which will require UK travel.
• Reports to: Head of Skills Development
• Pension: 10% employer contribution
• Holiday: 26 days per year pro-rata
