We’re delighted to welcome promoters, event organisers, artist liaison teams and venue staff to the next wave of our Just Ask sessions.
The Just Ask campaign, launched in partnership with Independent Venue Week in January 2021, aims to ensure that all artists (and their crew) are given the chance to share access requirements ahead of a performance, with promoters taking some simple steps before gigs to create a welcoming and supportive environment for Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent artists.
There are now new online session dates which you can RSVP to for free, if you want to learn more and discover the best ways to support disabled artists. Each session is focused around a different region, to give the campaign a chance to connect with specific scenes across the UK. We’re also inviting an artist from our Next Stage network to be part of each session, to bring you their expertise and advice for working accessibly with musicians.
